school-bus2May 21, (THAINDIAN NEWS) A New Jersey school district reported that a school bus which was originally meant for taking middle schoolers to a field trip came early and it resulted in an error. The driver mistakenly took some high school students. The bus was scheduled to arrive at 9 a.m and it was supposed to take the students belonging to 7th and 8th grades. Instead of that the bus arrived at 7:45 a.m and the students headed to Ridgefield Park High School thought it was meant for them. Hence they boarded the bus without realizing they were making a mistake.

The students guessed something was wrong when the bus they were in took a different route than the usual one. They got alarmed and began calling their parents and school authorities. Things became difficult when the bus driver declined to speak to the officials of the schools with the cell phone of a student since drivers are usually prohibited from talking when they are driving. However, after some minutes of reasoning and persuasion, the students were able to make the driver understand about the mistake. He then turned the bus around and headed back to that school.

The state police was informed by that time and caught up with the bus. An officer boarded the bus and accompanied the students to the school thereafter. Later the company that owns the bus expressed an apology to the school. The parents of the students were alarmed after receiving calls from their children but later they were informed about the mistake. The issue was resolved soon and the students were also relieved.
