hotel London, Feb 21 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A Saudi Prince is charged with murdering his assistant, but his lawyer appeared in a London court on Friday, and was confident that he would cleared of all charges in the trial. Attorney Michael Wolkind said Saud Bin Abdulaziz Bin Nasir Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud should not be held responsible for the death of Bandar Abdullah Abdulaziz, whose body was found in a London hotel this week, the BBC reported. “We look forward to a trial where we will expose a prosecution case which has turned a genuine friendship with the deceased to a false relationship of master and servant,” Wolkind said.

According to reports Prince Saud Bin Abdulaziz Bin Nasir Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud is being accused of killing Bandar Abdullah Abdulaziz, also from Saudi Arabia, at the Landmark Hotel. The grandfather of Prince Saud Bin Abdulaziz Bin Nasir Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud is the brother of the current Saudi king, Abdullah. “Officers believe they know the identity of the deceased, who is from Saudi Arabia, but await formal identification before releasing his name,” the police officials said in a statement. “Enquiries to trace his next of kin are under way.”

Police found the Prince’s assistant’s body in his suite of the Landmark Hotel on Monday. An autopsy was done, which revealed that he died of strangulation and head injuries.
