Oct 19 (THAINDIAN NEWS) On Tuesday in the UK, a Saudi prince was convicted of murdering a servant of his during an attack which occurred in a hotel in Britain. Prince Saud Abdulaziz bin Nasser al Saud was found guilty of killing Bandar Abdullah Abdulaziz at the Landmark Hotel which is located in London on Feb. 15, 2010.

The prince’s grandfather is the brother of the current king of Saudi Arabia. He was said to have abused his aide in the past, according to the prosecutor, Jonathan Laidlaw. Video footage showed footage from the Landmark Hotel elevator which showed the prince dressed in white with his head shaved, throwing the servant, who was 32 years old, around the stall and beating him. According to ‘Forbes.com’, there were also photographs of Abdulaziz on a cell phone which “plainly proved” that there was a “sexual element” to the abuse, stated Laidlaw.

It took jurors a total of ninety-five minutes to deliberate before a decision was given. The thirty-four year old prince could face life in prison for his crime. He will be sentenced on Wednesday.
