London, Aug 12 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson, stormed out during an interview with Channel 9’s 60 Minute program. Ferguson was being interviewed by reporter Michael Usher when she flared up and walked away.

Ferguson’s manager, John Scott, later explained that the Australian network intentionally tried to “ambush” his boss during the interview. In an interview with the Australian Daily Telegraph, Scott explained that, “We had gone through all the questions and subject matter beforehand and filmed all the walking in the park footage before we sat down. She did walk out when she was ambushed - no, it was entrapment…”

Ferguson was disgraced when now-defunct UK tabloid News of the World caught her on tape trying to sell an access to Prince Andrew to an undercover journalist who posed as an Indian businessman. She could be clearly heard on the tape demanding £500,000 from the person to get her favor.

When she appeared on the 60 Minute show, Scott said the interviewer tried to play back that particular tape to her. The show’s producers have denied any wrongdoing saying Ferguson agreed to talk about the particular incident.

The producer of the show Mr. Thomson categorically denied that the interview was an entrapment.
