3607437Utah, Aug 25, (THAINDIAN NEWS) An apartment complex located at the Salt Lake City’s west side had to be evacuated after the report of a suicidal person threatening of explosion erupted. The building was kept empty for some hours on Monday. Pat Wilkinson a Salt Lake police detective said that the person who threatened to use explosive is somewhat mentally instable and earlier also he threatened to similar acts. Since he tried doing similar things in the past the Salt Lake City Police did not shrug off the threat as a joke. A robot was used to gauge the severity of the situation and later the investigators concluded that it was safe to go inside the building and take stock of the situation. The man named Marvin Dohner was later taken into police custody. He is 57 years old as the cops said.

When the officials of the Salt lake City Police reached the apartment they could not understand if the man in question was in that room or not. They did not want to take any risk and summoned the bomb squad and began evacuating the residents staying there. It was learnt later the house used now as a home for military veterans without any accommodation. A number of these people suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder as a resident told a news channel.

The cops allowed the residents to come back to the apartment after 12.30. Later Police arrested Marvin Dohner the man who made the threat calls. Some of the residents of the building were shocked at his behavior and said from his behavior they never suspected he would do such a thing.
