Nashville, Oct.20, (THAINDIAN NEWS), Nashville Police has found new evidence in the murder case of Sahel Kazemi and McNair. According to the authorities, 20 year old Kazemi who was heavily indebted, had asked money from McNair before they died on 4th of July. Kazemi had also sent several text messages to McNair, saying that she wanted to be with him. Also, Kazemi had been arrested for drunken driving only two days before she died. McNair was accompanying her. Once McNair left, she called her ex-boyfriend for help.

Earlier, the couple were found dead in a condo situated in downtown Nashville. The police had categorized the deaths as suicide-murder case. Accordingly, Kazemi had first killed McNair shooting him four times before shooting herself once with the same weapon.

CBS’s “Early Show”, also obtained the bank statement belonging to Kazemi. It showed that she had more than U.S $2500 in her account. This money was enough to pay her bills. This proved inconsistent with the ongoing investigation. CBS thus raised questions on the police reports. Wayne Black, an ex-police detective and a current investigator stated that the case had several inconsistencies which would make him go and investigate further.

According to another twist that came recently, revolving around the case, Kazemi’s ex-boyfriend decided to speak up in her favor. Keith Norfleet said that he loved “Jenny”, as he fondly called Kazemi, and also stated that they were married without a certificate. He declines to accept the police version and refuses to believe that Kazemi could have taken a life.
