Sacaton, AZ, gang member sentenced for murder case
February 27th, 2010 - 1:48 am ICT by BNO NewsPHOENIX, ARIZONA (BNO NEWS) – A Sacaton, Arizona man was sentenced to 23 years in prison for second degree murder, prosecutors announced on Friday.
Raymond Jackson, 22, was a gang member previously convicted. On June 6, 2009, he was drinking with another gang member. They began to argue about who was the most “bad” due to their time in prison. Jackson insisted that he was “more bad” due to his longer sentence and gang affiliations. The victim left the scene.
Jackson followed him and ran up to him. Finally, Jackson shot him once in the chest, killing him.
