Oct 18 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Russian spies which were traded recently in the biggest swap of spies since the Cold War, were given honors at a special Kremlin ceremony of which there were few details. Russian President Dmitry Medvedev gave the honors.

The ten Russian spies were sent back to Russia in June as they were swapped for four Americans who were being held in Russia for spying. They received a hero’s welcome when they arrived in their home country, as well as a sing-a-long with Prime Minister Vladimir Putin in July.

The Interfax news agency reported that the Russian President bestowed the highest honor given by the state to the Russian sleeper agents.
