Rush Limbaugh Washington DC, Jan 15 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Rush Limbaugh tasteless comments on the recent Haiti earthquake have rattled off many, including the White House. Rush Limbaugh said on his radio show on Wednesday that he wouldn’t trust that money donated to Haiti through the White House Web site would actually go to the relief efforts. He said Americans don’t need to contribute to earthquake relief because they already donate to Haiti through their high income taxes.

The White House has decided to fire back at Rush Limbaugh, after his unkind comments on the Haiti rescue efforts. Spokesman Robert Gibbs said there are always people who say “really stupid things” during a crisis. He then proceeded to accuse Limbaugh of using the power of his pulpit to convince people not to assist those in need.

He said that there are always people who say “really stupid things” during a crisis. He says it’s sad that Limbaugh would use the power of his pulpit to convince people not to assist those in need.

Meanwhile some Rush Limbaugh fans are saying that he didn’t say that people would not help the Haitians, but rather he just meant that Americans should not help the Haitians through the Obama administration, as he didn’t trust them.
