Rush Limbaugh Comments On Quake Struck Haiti

Jan 14, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The racist attitude of the radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh came out very clearly on his show on Jan 13. He did not falter to attack President Barack Obama for taking instant action after the Haiti’s catastrophic earthquake. He points out that when Umar Faroul Abdulmutallab tried to blow up a transcontinental airliner, Barack Obama who was on a holiday then, took three days to address this subject. However, his support for the Haiti issue came right after the tragedy, much to Rush Limbaugh’s surprise. He further says, this incident will make Barack Obama happy as his administration will get a chance to “use this to burnish their, shall we say, credibility with the black community, in the… the both light-skinned and dark-skinned black community in this country. It’s made to order for them.”
He even made some insensitive comments on former president Bill Clinton’s appointment as UN envoy of Haiti. He says, “I’m just gonna tell you, if I was named envoy to Haiti, I’d quit government. Envoy to Haiti? You can’t even pick up a prostitute down there without genuine fear of AIDS.” This comment of Rush Limbaugh has hurt the sentiments of people.
Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere which needs external support. The land had to suffer dictatorship for years. It is affected by four hurricanes in the recent past. It is badly in need of help. Undoubtedly, the jibe coming at a time when Haiti is braving the odds of the aftermath of the terrible earthquake, is certainly not going to be taken up well by anyone. On grounds of humanity at least, the quake struck region could have been spared by Rush Limbaugh.

This man is despicable and will do anything for ratings. This comment directed at a country dealing with an earthquake is deplorable.
No doubt he say his words have been taken out of context.

Rush Limbaugh should shut his mouth. He should be taken off the air for his ignorant racist remarks. Only someone who is stupid can enjoy listening to him. Get rid him on the air.

New lows are reached each day.
I am sickened by the statements made by Limbaugh about the human tragity occurring in Haiti.
Talk about the coarsening of
America…he is disgusting!

how could anyone with any decency or compassion say these things in regards to the tragedy of other human beings? this is a force of nature not a result of some man made action. he better watch his back before he gets beaten down to the despicable racist pulp that he is.

Isn’t Limbaugh a racist bastard. Maybe he’s tried picking up a prostitute in Haiti before. Why hasn’t someone shot him as yet? Both Limbaugh and Pat Robertson seem to have an affinity towards insensitive garbage-utterances. the Haitians made a “pact with the Devil” he should know maybe he was there. He and Limbaugh are both nutcases (wheres a nutcracker when you need one?).

Why is this man still on the radio sprouting off these racist comments. What a disgusting person. He needs to go away with Palin and Robertson and the rest of the hateful right wing conservatives who are racist and un American. It is obvious in what he says.

I do agree with the statement, if you don’t like Rush, don’t listen” what is scary about this statement is that there are plenty of americans still listening. I am starting to think if you don’t like all the people still listening to Rush maybe you should leave the country. It is start to become a scary place to live.

I cannot imagine anyone could be so freaking stupid! That guy has more hate in him than the devil himself. Maybe he IS the devil!!! I just wish he didn’t get to me so much because his opinion means absolutely nothing. Blow Hard!

Hmmm. I feel so sorry for the people who listen to this young man. They are obviously more ignorant than what they can even imagine. Poor guy and people. I’m just wondering whre this talk was hiding with the Tsunami and many other disasters. Interesting how the slow response or regretful response were on two seperate occasions: Katrina and Haiti’s earthquake hmmmmmm..

In reference to Rush Limbaugh, can we say IDIOT!!! How can he say that Barak Obama is just responding to Haiti racial reasons (African American credibility)? He is African American stupid! Why wouldn’t he have a connection with other people of color. Furthermore, since when is helping someone else racial? As far as Pat Robertson goes…He needs to realize that his distasteful and unwise comments are only hindering the spread of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are supposed to be drawing others to Him not repelling them. He should be using this oportunity to lift up the name of Jesus…Jesus said in the Bible that “If I be lifted up on the earth I will draw all men unto me!” He also said for all who are burdened and heavy laden to come to Him and he would give them rest. We are to bear the infirmities of the weak. Pat Robertson you dropped the ball!

Doesn’t surprise me. He’s an idiot and idiots say foolish things.

SOCIOPATH. Who else could be better?. Rush is the king of psychopaths.

I disagree with RL’s comments disparaging Haiti. The US should provide assistance. I agree however that a large fraction of our taxes are spent on involuntary charity, transfer payments to others. With only so much left after taxes, real charity - the voluntary kind - is diminsihed.

Rush kind of makes me wish stupidity was painful but as you know he has pills for that, and im not sure how many ex wives that would probably agree, I predict that there will be some type of service [FUNERAL] in the near future for this scum bag
January 16th, 2010 at 5:41 am
I am not a Limbaugh fan but you all have to realize that this guy is attempting a ratings grab with these remarks and it is working if you fall for it. Limbaugh is one of the highest grossing talk show hosts in history so stop listening and responding to his baffoonery and you will hit him where it hurts. He like many others are blinded by their own selfish views and nothing any man they did not vote for does will be enough. Keep that in mind. In the eyes of many nothing that Obama does will be right regardless of his decision.
January 16th, 2010 at 9:44 am
The best way to deal with Rush Limbaugh is to ignore him. If he has not audience, he has no talk show. He thrives on reactions to his ignorant statements. There are more important things going on in the world. He is not worth the time that it takes to dial his number. Just ignore him. I am sure that President Obama is doing just that.
