Rush LimbaughJan 15, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The radio-man Rush Limbaugh went on-air to suggest that people don’t really need to help out in the Haiti disaster. His words could have been a cover for Rev. Pat Robertson though. Something like this first came out of Pat Robertson according to whom, the Haiti people are paying a penance “for their pact with the devil which they made centuries ago”. When a caller reached Rush Limbaugh, he said that helping out people in Haiti only means that it will get the donors on the “Obama’s campaign e-mail list”. That was not all. Rush Limbaugh , apparently a very well-aware citizen, who keeps track of where his IRS payments actually land up, said “We’ve already donated to Haiti. It’s called the U.S income tax”.

In response to the above remarks, the President’s press secretary, Robert Gibbs pooh-poohed them by saying that “in times of great crisis there are always people that say really stupid things”. He further expressed his surprise at the fact that people could care so less about a disaster so big that claimed the lives of innumerable people and left even more homeless and effected for years to come.

On one hand you hear Mr. President announce that Haiti remains his first priority and that he will be shelling out an amount of $100 Million for the Haiti aid. On the other hand you hear people like Rush Limbaugh and Pat Robertson raising questions on the American aid being sent to Haiti. Guess we were wrong when we thought politicians were the ones that needed to change. For all it is worth, people know US will continue with the aid that is being provided since Wednesday itself.

Pat Robertson knows history and so do a lot of other people. The people in that gov’t were and are into voodoo and ungodly things.
Pat’s rescue team was immediately on their way to help those people so he’s doing all he can as well as praying for them to be released from this bondage and given a better life.
    God help them all.

    I find myself totally embarrassed
by these men, as well as more recent statements coming from
    our religious right politicians.
These men being aloud to live, let
alone have such a large potential
(TV / Radio) to sway the vast ignorant people of the US, is
    unacceptable! After these latest
statements I can understand why so
many hate the US, why many people from all walks of life
    are joining to destroy the
monster, which is us! We need to
use these men as an example to the world that we will not
    tolerate hate/bigotry/ and ban
them from any mass media usage!
    They have incited hate, and
are fueling a growing Anti-American view. They need to
    be shot for treason!
