suspectsConcord, Nov 7, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Concord’s Round Table Pizza restaurant once again came before the trigger of threat and violence yesterday. No one knows why this particular place has been targeted twice by the criminals in such a short span of time.

The incident took place at around 8:56 p.m. in Round Table Pizza Restaurant located at 2900 block of Treat Boulevard. Lt. Andrew Gartner said that two suspects with white masks and gray hoods, entered the restaurant, with one carrying a shot gun and the other carrying a pistol. They ordered the employees to sit on the floor immobile, so that they are not able to move. With no apparent resistance from the employees, they took cash from the safe and the register, and immediately fled from the restaurant. However, there were no customers at that time, and none of the employees were injured. Andrew Gartner described the suspects as two black men who were more than 6-feet tall. One of them was wearing a black hooded jacket, while the other was wearing a gray hooded sweat shirt. About an hour later, at about 9:37 p.m, yet another robbery took place at the Subway sandwich shop in the 4100 block of Concord Boulevard. This was also done by two musked suspects armed with shotguns and pistols. The same strategy was used where they jumped over the register and took the cash, before running away, without physically injuring anyone.

Andrew Gartner suspects that the robbery must have been done by the same person, considering the similarity of the weapons and the strategy. The city of Concord in California has been facing a lot of robberies for the last one month in the same location. Police officials suspect that all these robberies are connected, although nothing has been established yet.
