Rhythm and Booms: Amazing Fireworks Awaited

Rhythm and Booms Looking after 300,000 viewers in a park is not an easy task which is why the Rhythm and Booms activity supposed to take place on Saturday was postponed to 28th June, Sunday from 12.00p.m. The reason behind the cancellation of the event is due to severity in weather conditions resulting due to heavy rainfall, lightening and thunder. The show takes place every year in Warner Park, Wisconsin, since 1993 as a mark of Independence Day. Like always the show will be choreographed to WOLX 94.9 FM’s music and announcements have been made for viewers to carry their FM Radios for updates and enjoy the music during the fireworks show.

The Mayor was concerned about the safety of the individuals who throng the park during the event which is why a conscious decision to postpone the show was taken to prevent any mishaps from occurring during the show. The event organizer has also taken extra measures and recruited extra staff from several law enforcement agencies, to control traffic conditions, control the crowd and other activities taking place during the show.

As per reports, Deb McCue, Vice President of Madison Fireworks Fund has commented that the step was taken keeping in mind public safety. He also announced that all volunteers were to report for the show on Sunday instead of Saturday. The fund that would be raised out of the show would be donated for children charities in the Madison area.

Rhythm and Booms event organized by Madison Fireworks Fund in the past few years has gathered enormous appreciation and popularity because of the spectacular fireworks which also include firing of 15,000 shells.
