Idaho, Dec. 31, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The winner of the Idaho lottery was declared on Wednesday night. The winner would be the one who had bought a ticket with the number 059388. The winner of the lottery has won an amount of $1 million. There are a number of other winners too. Four of them have won an amount of $10,000. The results would also be covered by the local news channels.

There are also a number of other gifts to be won in the lottery, other than cash prizes. A couple from Meridian, Brian Knight and Nannette Westenhaver have won two Idaho Lottery Scratch tickets worth $5 to the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl. The scratch and win contest was part of the Idaho Lottery’s Fiesta Bowl Fever ll promotion. The system permitted 5,900 entries, from which Brian Knight tried three times. Needless to say, he and his girlfriend are elated. He had been hoping to win, he admits, confessing that it is a Christmas gift for the two of them.

The tickets for the Idaho Lottery had been sold out even before the official date for closing was over. Of course, that does not come as much of a surprise, as the tickets are sold out every year, without exception. In fact, this year, the tickets had sold out even faster than usual. The officials are attributing the occurrence to the recession, claiming that many of those who buy the tickets are likely to hope that a chance windfall would bail them out of the financially tight situation.
