Restaurants To Remain Open On Thanksgiving Day

RestaurantNov 17, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Food chains have come to announce that the restaurants will remain open throughout Thanksgiving Day. The Thanksgiving Day is observed on the fourth Thursday of November which is the 25th for this month.

Restaurant owners have announced that this decision have been taken by them in order to meet the growing demands on the part of the customers. Traditionally, the Thanksgiving Day has been associated as a mark of respect towards the Almighty and His creation as a result of which no one was supposed to eat out. It would then be an act of disrespect. But since times have changed, it is no longer regarded as an act of shame and instead people are seen to go out and eat to their heart’s content. Nowadays various eateries are seen to serve a large number of people on this particular day which as a result becomes a huge business profit for them.

Many big food chains have declared that they will be spreading out a grand Thanksgiving dinner to their customers, on the table comprising of turkeys fresh from the farms. Ruby Tuesday’s manager says that their doors will be open for the people from 11 in the morning till 8 in the evening, serving traditional Thanksgiving menu along with their traditional platters. According to them, last year their restaurant fed 500 customers on the Thanksgiving day. This year they are hopeful that more number of people will turn up. Another big restaurant claims that they will be offering special salad bars along with deserts. On the whole food joints are expecting quite a profitable turn out on this particular day than what have happened in the past years.
