Jan 27, (THAINDIAN NEWS) “Teen Mom” a show on MTV which had started from December 8, 2009 is a big hit. It talks about the problems and the challenges that teenager moms face while bringing up their children. In the recent past there was some tension between Farrah Abraham, the 18-year-old contestant and her mother Debra Danielson on child care issues. The verbal argument had turned to physical assault causing the arrest of the mother on charges of domestic violence. In the show, Farrah Abraham had never revealed anything about Derek Underwood, the father of her daughter, Sophia. It was known that she had completely “cut him out of her life.” It was reported that Farrah Abraham listened to her mother and had cut off all contacts with Derek Underwood, the father of her beautiful daughter Sophia. However, it has recently been revealed, from anonymous sources, that the 18-year-old Derek Underwood had died in an accident way back in 2008.

As per reports, Derek Underwood was driving the car on December 28, 2008. The car skidded and toppled. It hit a pole causing the death of Derek Underwood as well as Zachary Mendoza. Both of them were from Council Bluffs, Iowa. They were 18 at the time of their death. Another passenger was in the car, called Dustin Congdon, who survived.

Later investigations found out that the mother of Zachary Mendoza, Jackie Kennedy, bought a bottle of Skyy vodka which was traced through surveillance cameras. It was known that Derek Underwood had consumed alcohol but, it was a little below the limit that is set by law. Jackie Kennedy was left with a charge of giving alcohol to a minor. A little carelessness caused the death of two youngsters.
