Report: South Korea begins live-fire drill near border with North
December 20th, 2010 - 12:43 pm ICT by BNO NewsSEOUL/PYONGYANG (BNO NEWS) — South Korea on Monday began a controversial live-fire artillery drill near the border with North Korea, according to a news report.
The South Korean Yonhap news agency said the drill had begun, but provided no other details. It is expected to last approximately 2 hours, and North Korea previously threatened to carry out a military strike if the drill went ahead.
