Remember Alex Brown Foundation In Highlight

alex-brownFeb 1, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Teenage singing sensation Justin Bieber along with young actress Emma Roberts was seen on ABC network’s popular show Extreme Makeover: Home Edition held in honor of the Remember Alex Brown Foundation. The latter is a non profit foundation set up in the memory of late Alexandra Brown a young girl who died in 17 in a tragic testing and driving accident. The mother of the girl Jeannie Brown talked on the event that led to the shocking and unexpected demise of her daughter. She said “The cell phone on which she had sent and receive over 10,000 text messages in the weeks preceding her accident was with her.”

On the eve of her death anniversary the volunteer’s of the popular ABC show made a change in the life of the Brown family by rebuilding their residence. The sister of the deceased teen, Katrina Brown said “If Alex was here and seeing all this she would be so excited for us”. After her tragic death the family of the girl made a resolve to set up the Remember Alex Brown Foundation. Her father felt that awareness needs to be created about the dangers of driving while one is texting on mobile phone.

Emma Roberts was excited to be a part of the program. Host Ty Pennington said her presence at the show was relevant owing to her image and young age. The pretty actress said that when she heard about the episode she realized how hard could be the implications of texting while one is driving. Justin Bieber the cute faced Canadian singer signed the pledge for ‘don’t text and drive’ campaign.
