The case of the murder of Yale University student Annie Le has captured the avid interest of the entire nation ever since emerging in to the news front from early last week. It had initiated with the missing reports of the 24 year old doctoral graduate student surfacing and turned extremely tragic with the reports of her brutal death.
Now, the latest development on that front seems to suggests that the person who had seemingly held the interest of the police ever since the body of Annie Le was found on Sunday, lab technician, Raymond Clark III has been arrested by the police on the charges of the murder of the graduate research student, from the motel he had been staying at, all the while during the police investigation of the case and his questioning.
On Monday, the authorities had whisked Clark away from his apartment for questioning. On Thursday about 80 a.m., it has finally been revealed that the police charged the 24 year old lab technician with the subsequent murder of Annie. According to reports, Annie had been strangled on the 8th of September and her body was hidden behind the wall of the campus building.
Clark’s bail amount has been set at a staggering $3 million. On Thursday, he had been driven to New Haven, where he had been indicted with the murder of Le. He is said to have spoken very little on the matter, in front of the court and also did not try to submit a plea. Reports have indicated that the police’s case against Clark has been built on solid grounds, with concrete evidence.
