Rain Acted As A Spoil Sport For The Cleveland Air Show

cleveSep 5, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The rain acted as a spoil sport as The Cleveland Air Show 2010 was canceled owing to bad weather. However, the rain could not curtail the enthusiasm of the citizens. They were eagerly waiting for The Cleveland Air Show at Burke Lakefront Airport. However, to their dismay ultimately the air show was canceled as torrential rain and extremely poor weather did not help at the last moment.

The Cleveland Air Show is an annual air show held on Labor Day weekend at Burke Lakefront Airport in Cleveland, Ohio. The show includes stunt airplanes, modern fighters and alternates between the Blue Angels and Thunderbirds every other year. The masses had been waiting for their favorite event of the Labor Day weekend to see the regular attraction of NASA Glenn Research Center. The management of The Cleveland Air Show said that the people will have to wait for few more days to witness the heritage or legacy flight till the weather becomes pleasant for the flights to take off.

The organizers of The Cleveland Air Show said that the performances have been canceled this year due to heavy shower which could be dangerous to jets and pilots as well. However, the people are still not disheartened as The Cleveland Air Show 2010 was scheduled to run from Saturday to Monday. The organizers have announced that as soon as the weather becomes fine, they will be able to enjoy the show. The organizers even offered the Saturday ticket holders an admission to the show either today or Monday. However, with improved weather forecast for next two days, the air show officials said that they expect full two days of aerial and ground events.
