Queen Noor Aims To Reach The World On Nuclear Proliferation Through “Countdown To Zero”

Los Angeles, June 13, (THAINDIAN NEWS) She might be a little off-cast in Hollywood but when you come to know about her sheer dedication and love towards movies, you might just change your view.
Queen Noor of Jordan; the widow of King Hussein is one of the chief brains behind the concept of “Countdown to Zero” a documentary which deals with the alarming topic of nuclear bomb proliferation. The Queen was attending the lunch at the Beverly Hills “Four Seasons Hotel” as the founder member of “Global Zero”. As a matter of fact “Global Zero” happens to be a movement which aims at phasing out all nuclear weapons all around the globe.
As Queen Noor puts it, Hollywood is a new world for her but she believes that a movie with its visual impact has a lot to offer for one and all. She says that it is equally compelling and driving as any speech or a written document. “Countdown to Zero” which happens to be documentary movie with a running time of 90 minutes is directed by Lucy Walker who also penned down the script for the movie.
“Countdown To Zero” showcases the interviews of many eminent leaders of the world that includes Ex-Prime Minister of England Tony Blair, USSR General Secretary Mikhail Gorbachev, Ex-US President Jimmy Carter. The documentary dotes upon the fact that nine leading nations of the world has their hands on the nuclear weapons which is a threat to the world at large.
Queen Noor aims to deliver the message to one and all through her informative documentary as she feels that movie is the only perfect medium through which such a alarming issue can be addressed. The Queen also underlined the fact that she hopes that this movie finds its right way and achieves it purpose.
