Queen Elizabeth To Provide Glimpse of Royal Family Through Flickr

July 26, (THAINDIAN NEWS) It seems that the British royal family is taking all the necessary steps to make its presence felt in the world of social media. After creating accounts on YouTube as well as the micro-blogging site Twitter, Queen Elizabeth is all set to make an impact on the picture-sharing website, Flickr. According to reports, in initially a whopping 600 images of the Queen as well as other members of the royal family would be made available for public viewing when the Buckingham Palace Flickr page goes live.
The official page of the royal family on Flickr would consists of around 28 sub-divisions which would take into account the senior members of the British royal family which includes the Duke of Edinburgh, Queen Elizabeth, the Prince of Wales, Duchess of Cornwall as well as Prince William and Harry. The palace officials have stated that the pictures that would be showcased on the popular photo-sharing online portal would include images of recent important events as well as pictures from the archives. Anticipation of the netizens about the online photo album has been immensely high as not only would they be able to view the rare pictures but they would also be permitted to use the pictures in blogs and other social networking sites.
