Queen Elizabeth To Address UN General Assembly On July 6

elizabethJan 25, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The British Queen Elizabeth II is going to address the UN General Assembly in New York in July as is reported by Buckingham Palace and the British Mission to the United Nations. She is the regnant of sixteen independent sovereign states which is popularly known as Commonwealth. Buckingham Palace even said that Britain’s Queen will address the UN General Assembly on 6th July. Back in 1957, Queen Elizabeth II addressed the UN General Assembly. She will also visit Canada from June 28th to July 6th with her husband- Duke of Edinburgh, who will be 89 soon.

Queen Elizabeth II will be addressing the General assembly as Head of State of the United Kingdom as well as 15 other nations that will include Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Apart from these places, she will also address Antigua and Barbuda, the Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Grenada, Jamaica, Papua New Guinea, Jamaica, Papua New Guinea, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, the Solomon Islands and Tuvalu- as the head. Queen Elizabeth II’s speech at the UN General Assembly in July would be her first deliverance after more than 50 years. People would be eagerly waiting for her speech deliverance.

As per reports from Buckingham Palace, the 84-year-old monarch will be immediately back in the evening after addressing UN General Assembly on 6th July. In the mean time, the interest regarding the monarch’s much touted speech is in an upswing and is said to be receiving huge attention, both from the public and media alike. The speech of the much revered queen will surely help in bringing some positive social changes.
