haiti-victim-27Haiti, Feb 10, (THAINDIAN NEWS) A recent report regarding one of the Haiti earthquake survivor has received huge attention of people in different parts of the world. The report that has attracted debates and discussions indicates that the relief workers who are working in Haiti have rescued a man, who was trapped under rubble for as long as 27 days. It has also been reported that the man has become thin and feeble as he did not receive any food or water for almost a month.

Though reports indicate that the man was found under the ruins of buildings after 27 days of the earthquake, many people have doubted the authenticity of the news. It has been reported that the doctors, who are treating the man and trying to stabilize his condition were also skeptic about the ‘veracity’ of the man’s story. Some reports indicate that even though the man did not receive any food for almost a month, he had access to water else he could not survive. This sounds quite logical.

Though the truth of the man’s story is still shrouded in mystery, it has been reported that the man used to be a rice vendor. It has also been reported that the family members of the victim had not seen him after the quake and did not have any clue about the place where he could be found. Initial reports indicated that the man might have told the truth, but he can be called the longest survivor of Haiti quake, once the fact is confirmed.
