Puppy rescued from car engine

Charlotte, Jun 1 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A puppy that got stuck in a car engine has been rescued. The inhabitant of Charlotte, North Carolina - Darlene Broome heard a strange noise coming from her car and she stopped to check. What she saw both shocked and frightened her. Darlene opened her car hood and she found stuck in her engine an 8-week-old puppy. The puppy was wedged in the motor at the top of the transmission. The helpless animal was rescued with the help of mechanic, who was fortunately passing by. The hapless little animal was injured and its belly was also burnt from the steam from the engine.
Darlene Broome was on her way to the hospital to see her ailing husband. Her husband had been taken in the ambulance earlier to the hospital, after complaining of chest pains.
Darlene was in a dilemma, as she needed to get to her husband quickly and at the same time she wanted to rescue the little animal too. However was able to get to the hospital to look at her husband, while the mechanic rushed the poor puppy to the nearest vet. According to reports the puppy and Darlene’s husband are doing good.
