Prosecutors release Casey Anthony prison letters
April 10th, 2010 - 8:19 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattOrlando, Apr 10 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Prosecutors in the Casey Anthony case have released some prison letters, in which there are some shocking admissions. It may be recalled that Casey Anthony is lodged in behind bars, as she is waiting to be on trial for the first-degree murder of her 2 years old daughter Caylee. She was jailed two years ago in 2008, and she has pleaded not guilty to the murder charges.
She has also confessed to her fellow jail inmates that she used to drug her daughter Caylee many times, as she came in the way of her life and social circle. One of her fellow inmates in jail was Maya Derkovic, who said to the investigators that she was on friendly terms with Anthony, and Casey had confided in her about her daughter-drugging habit too. Robyn Adams was another fellow jail inmate to told the investigators that Casey confided in her, that she also used to medicate her daughter to sleep. Adams said that Casey used to use antihistamines on her 2-year-old daughter.
The letters that were released show that Casey was on very friendly terms with her prison inmates. They also reveal that Casey was suffering from remorse after losing her daughter, as one letter says that, “I know I’ll be an emotional wreck later. Hell, it’s been a full month almost since I’ve seen any of my family. The only one I have pictures of, is my daughter. I wish she was going to be there :( :( :( Great. I’m going to make myself cry, if I’m not careful.”
