Wisconsin, Mar 17 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A principal in a school in Wisconsin has posted a F-list of students who are failing in one or more subjects. Since then, he has got a lot of negative criticism over this deed. Principal Dave Schoepke is facing the music now, as the teachers, students and the parents of the students are protesting against his action.
However in his defense, the Principal Dave Schoepke says that he is not perturbed by the criticism at all, and he still thinks that he did the right thing. He thinks that after the list is made public, the students on the list would face humiliation in front of their peers, which would in turn inspire them to work harder, so that in the future their names do not feature on the list. After the list was posted the Principal Dave Schoepke said that more than half of the students on that list, had finished their pending assignments, and handed them over to the teachers too. The students can get a passing grade if they complete a project and some assignments.
The students who feature on the F-list are not able to attend their classes and other extra-circular activities, which may include some special school functions too.
