reemaWisconsin, March 17, (THAINDIAN NEWS) After Rex Roland, the teacher who wrote ‘loser’ on the homework note book of one of his students, a similar case has come up from the Marshfield Middle School. However, this time it is not the teacher who is being criticized for the deed but the school principal who has reportedly publicly brought out an ‘F’ list of students. The principal of Marshfield Middle School, Dave Schoepke, has brought out a list of failure student of the school in front of the public to punish the students who have not been able to fair well.

The list which was posted for public viewing had the name of the student along with his or her class and the failing grades mentioned by the side of it. The list which consisted of hundreds of names was hung for public viewing in an attempt to motivate students to work hard and pass in the exams, according to the principal of the school.

However, both parents and the teachers of the school have protested against such a public display. According to them, the list in no way motivates the students to perform well. According to them, it hinders the privacy of the student. A parent complained that her daughter got upset after finding that her name and failing grades have been hung for public viewing.

However, the Principal Dave Schoepke has reportedly said that after the list was hung, there has been an improvement in the results of the students as they have tried to pass in the examinations. The principal has before restricted students with bad grades from attending functions and dance classes.

Fair well? Don’t you mean “fare well”?

Let me answer this for you. Yes, you do.

Shame on the Principal. An “F” is not a grade, it is an assanination of charachter. It goes without saying that no student ever improved their grade by getting an “F” or being publicly humiliated. I am sure glad that he is noe a pricipal in my school. If he looked carefully he would find that there was a goiod reason for the “f”’s that these students got. Check out their family situation, home environment, learning differences, and a lack of a teacher and in this case a principal who reached out and tried to make a difference.
