Mount Snowdow, Nov 22 (THAINDIAN NEWS) It has emerged that Prince William was part of the rescue mission to save the life of Greg Watkins. The British monarch was called into action just two days after he proposed to his long time girlfriend, Kate Middleton.

He was among the four man-crew aboard the RAF Sea King helicopter that was involved in the rescue mission. The mission became necessary after Greg Watkins collapsed in the mountains. He was successfully lifted into the chopper and transferred to the hospital where he was examined for possible heart attack.

From his hospital bed, Greg was full of praise for the crew members that were engaged in the rescue. He was particularly grateful to the leader of the rescue team, Flight Lieutenant Wales. He said their efforts helped saved his life. He described the sound of the chopper as it approached his as the best sound he has heard.

Greg collapsed during a walk with six other friends in the hills. William’s involvement in the rescue mission came just five hours after he returned to his base at the RAF Valley in North Wales. He was returning after his much talked about proposal to Middleton.
