Nov 18, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Finally bringing an end to years of speculation, Prince William is all set to wed his longtime girlfriend Kate Middleton next year in a fairy-tale royal wedding. After it was confirmed that the royal couple are all set to tie the knot in the near future and are already engaged to be married, the couple made their first television interview earlier this week in which they talked at length about their relationship as well as their marriage plans.

In the interview, Prince William revealed that he thought it was just the right time to propose to his girlfriend while they were on a holiday in Kenya. The second in line to the British throne also went on to say that it was not a massive surprise for him as he had been planning it for quite some time and proposing to his lady love during the holiday in Africa seemed to be just the right to do at that moment. While recalling how she reacted when Prince William popped the question, Kate Middleton revealed that it came as a total shocker although she was extremely excited about it. Moreover, Prince William’s lady love also added that she really hopes to take proper care of the engagement ring as it is very special given the fact that it is Princess Diana’s engagement ring from Prince Charles.

Meanwhile, the 28-year-old British prince also expressed relief that the widespread speculations about their relationship would now end and the news that they are now engaged to be married has been made public.
