President Obama to donate Nobel Peace Prize money to charity

WASHINGTON, D.C. (BNO NEWS) – President Barack Obama will donate the money from winning the Nobel Peace Prize to charity, a top U.S. official told BNO News on Friday.
The Nobel Committee will hand over 10 million Swedish crowns ($1.4 million) to President Obama on December 10 in Oslo for winning the historic award. White House Deputy Press Secretary Bill Burton confirmed to BNO News that he will donate the entire amount to charity.
There was no immediate word on which charity or charities he could donate to.
