Washington, Jan 4 (THAINDIAN NEWS) There has been a power outage at the Reagan National Airport. And it has brought operations to a halt. The power went out at around 12:30 pm on Monday on Terminal C. This was confirmed by the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority spokesperson Tara Hamilton to WTOP Radio.

Because of the power outage no planes are taking off, but thankfully some flights are still able to land thankfully the control tower has a backup power supply. The power supplier to the Reagan Airport is Dominion Power. And they are working around the clock to fix the problem as soon as possible, so that the normal airport operations can be resumed at the earliest.

Due to the power outage, people are also being prevented from going through the security checkpoints.
