church1Poland, May 12, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Archbishop Jzef Kowalczyk is now the Archbishop of Gniezno and has been named the new primate of Poland by Pope Benedict XVI, replacing Archbishop Henryk Muszynski who will soon be retiring at the age of 77 years.

If one studies history thoroughly, they will get to know that the Archbishop who carried the title of primate of Poland after his name, also presided over Warsaw along with Poland. Cardinal Jozef Glemp celebrated his 80th birthday in the year 2009 and it was then that Archbishop Muszynski, who will retire shortly, was declared the primate.
