Maryland, July 14 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Police have released a surveillance photo of the kidnapping of the 74-year-old mother of Cal Ripken Jr, who is a legend of the Baltimore oriole.

The kidnapper is said to have bound the elderly woman’s hands and drove her around Maryland. This was in her Lincoln town car. Police have refused to reveal the location that the photos were taken but it appears to be outside a store.

The police say that revealing the location might compromise the investigations that they are carrying out. The surveillance photo shows a man wearing an orange baseball cap and a white shirt. The man is tall and slender. There are words on the front of his cap but they are not clear because the photo is blurry.

Reports from the police say that Cal Ripken Jr’s mother Valerie Ripken was abducted from the garage of her home in Aberdeen on Tuesday morning. The kidnapper drove around town in her car then returned her home early Wednesday morning.

Police are asking for anyone who saw a silver Lincoln town car on Tuesday around the western Maryland County and in Baltimore city and county to report to help them, with the investigations.

The car is a 1998 model and its number plate is SMR308. The car has an American flag sticker and a blue Boys and Girls Club sticker.
