San Diego, March 9, (THAINDIAN NEWS) According to reports, the Escondido police department is linking the death of the missing teen Amber Dubois with the sex offender John Albert Gardner III, who is charged with the rape and murder of 18 year old Chelsea King.

The Escondido Police department, who were searching the missing teenager for the last one year, found the skeletal remains of the body at Pala, San Diego on Saturday. The skeleton was identified as being that of Amber Dubois after a dental record examination was carried out. The department is now linking the death to the sex offender John Albert Gardner III and will investigate the matter further. The linking gets further impetus as according to some sources, a teenager recently has identified John Albert Gardner III as the man who tried to kidnap her last year.

Though Amber Dubois’ parents have not commented on the Escondido Police department’s statement and linking of John Albert Gardener to the death of their daughter, some sources close to the family have reportedly said that they think the recent arrest of the sex offender is in some way or the other linked with the murder of Amber Dubois. However, officials from the police department have said that John Albert Gardner has in no way helped the police regarding Amber Dubois’ search.

The update of the Amber Dubois case has again put he authorities in a position because they let the criminal free to roam the street. According to psychologists, the criminal remains a potent threat to the young girls. On Tuesday, John Albert Gardner III however, will face the first trial at the court regarding the charges against him in the Chelsea King rape and murder.
