Police issue arrest warrants for LSU mates Jordan Jefferson and Joshua Johns

New York, Aug 26 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Police have issued arrest warrants for LSU mates Jordan Jefferson and Joshua Johns. They are being arrested for their role in a bar fight in which 4 people were injured. The unfortunate incident happened in the vicinity of Shady’s Bar, which is located in Baton Rogue on the 19th of August.

Apart from the arrest warrants, the school officials have also taken stern action and the players have also been suspended from their school.

The charges against the players are of second degree battery. As of now the players are still to be arrested and the police officials have gotten in touch with their lawyer Nathan Fisher and even LSU coach Les Miles.

“We will continue to cooperate with the authorities in an effort to find out exactly what took place during the incident. As sad as this incident is, it’s important that we learn from this and that we take away a valuable lesson. This has weighed on all of us. It’s time for us to come together as a team and focus on what we are here to do,” according to LSU coach Les Miles.
