Pioneer School Strip Club Shocks Alumni

Among the multiplication tables and a copy of the Constitution which decorates the walls of the old Pioneer School in Neoga, Illinois, a new place of business has moved in that has citizens of the small farming town in an uproar. In place right along with these educational signs of the past is a post which reads, “Our dancers are entertainers not prostitutes so don’t ask!!!”
The school building was sold by the district back in 2002, and has recently been re-opened as a strip club. The residents of Cumberland County were, to put it mildly, not happy with this development at all. Most of these protesters walks these halls, and played on the playgrounds of this school themselves, and are disgusted to see what it has been turned into.
There are quite a few people from the town who want the place shut down. Protesters regularly stand outside to pray that patrons see where they are going wrong. They light small crosses and hold up signs saying, “Does your family know where you are? Jesus does.” Bill Moran, a 70 year old resident who lives just across the road stated, “We don’t want this kind of filth in our county, what you get out of a place like this is rape, venereal diseases and a lot of divorces.”
