stripNeoga, June 7, (THAINDIAN NEWS) According to reports, an abandoned elementary school of Neoga, Illinois has been transformed into a strip club by the new owner.

The Pioneer School of the Cumberland County of the eastern Illinois was sold by the school district back in 2002. Recently the school building was renovated by its owners who reopened it as a strip club named “The School House”.

The turning of the elementary school from where many residents had passed in the past to a strip club has shocked the farming community which is now protesting the opening of the club.

Residents of the area who are vehemently protesting “The School House” say that such a place will only pollute the society. 70-year-old Bill Moran who is a resident of the county said to media sources that the people of the County do not want such a kind of “filth” in the county. He added that such a place will only give in turn “rape, venereal diseases and a lot of divorces”.

However, the owners of the club and some of the residents have voiced a different thought. 25-year-old Danny Reed, an electrician had voiced reportedly that he does not think that the strip club is such a bad place as it is being said if it helps the County “money-wise”.

He said that there are very less job opportunities for the youths in the county and the new club will provide some other job options to the residents. The owners of the club, Bob Kearney and Travis Funneman have reportedly told to media sources that they have followed all the legal steps before opening the club.

As for the old students of the school their memories of the school have been brutally murdered by the strip club.
