Oct.31 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Phish Festival started off on the thirtieth of October at the Coachella Valley. It’s going to be held at the Empire Indio Club at California. This is by far going to be the biggest show put in by the band jam behemoths from Vermont. This is the fortieth celebration of Woodstock. This is the band’s first All Hallows Eve festival after 2004. This is also the first time the band will hold the festival west of the Mississippi. The show will include eight sets and will
continue for three days.
The special attractions of the festival will include an acoustic performance on Sunday with the accompaniment of doughnuts and coffee. There will also be a giant one hundred foot Ferris Wheel and a market for farmers which will contain only organic stuff for selling. In keeping with the tradition of the Phish festivals, the eponymous band will devote one section of the show in which they will perform only the songs from another band. In this section, they will be singing all the songs from that particular band’s album.
The “musical costume” of this years performance have not yet been finally announced by the band. However, they have announced the names of the final eight candidates. These are David Bowie, Prince, Radiohead, Jimi Hendrix, Rolling Stones, Genesis, MGMT, and King Crimson. As if all that is not enough, the band has also promised to perform unplugged this year. The total festival consists of eight sets.It began on the thirtieth of October, with two sets. The next three sets will be performed on the thirty first, followed by the final three sets on the first of November.

Slight overstatement there, I don’t think this will to Big Cypress, unless they are going to play a seven hour set, midnight until daylight.
