Phillipa Lepley is tipped to design Kate Middleton’s wedding dress

London, Nov 19 (THAINDIAN NEWS) According to reports, Phillipa Lepley is being tipped to design the wedding dress of Kate Middleton when she marries Prince William next year.

Already the upcoming royal wedding has created a big buzz and the details of the wedding including the designers and the venue is being worked upon. Westminster Abbey is being tipped as the wedding venue, though it ought to be mentioned that nothing has been confirmed as yet.

It ought to be mentioned that Phillipa is the top favorite to design the gown as she has an unbeatable reputation of designing wedding gowns that are simple yet classy. She opened her very first bridal shop in London in 1990 and since then she has been a trailblazer of sorts.

The 41 years old Phillipa refused to comment on whether she is indeed in the running to design the gown or not, but the bookies feel strongly that she is the top favorite, as they have set her odds to 3/1.

Rupert Adams, who is a spokesman for bookmaker William Hill, said that, “There has been a real weight of money behind Phillipa, which would normally suggest that she is at the very least on the shortlist to design the dress.”
