New York, Jun 20 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The writer of the fictional Peter van Pels diary has managed to anger many fans of Anne Frank. Author Sharon Dogar has written the diary of Peter van Pels. It ought to be mentioned that Peter is the very boy who used to stay in the same building, where Anne Frank used to stay in Amsterdam.

In Anne Frank’s diary there are references to her budding romance with Peter. And Sharon has managed to take that romance to dizzying heights altogether. The book was published by Anderson Press and their editorial director – Charlie Sheppard says that the author thinks, that the duo might have slept together too.

Charlie said that, “Sharon reread and reread Anne’s diaries, and is in no doubt that they were in love. They also talk about sex in the diaries. After all, the hormones of both were raging.”

However there is criticism from numerous quarters regarding the book. Anne Frank’s first cousin Buddy Elias says that, “Anne was not the child she is in this book. I also do not think that their terrible destiny should be used to invent some fictitious story.” Other Anne Frank’s fans are also furious at the spicing up of Anne Frank’s simple romance.
