May 19, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz’s 1 1/2 –year-old son, Bronx Wentz, had purportedly been caught up in an insignificant car accident in Los Angeles’ Coldwater Canyon yesterday. Nonetheless, reports have declared that Bronx emerged from the accident in an unharmed state.

As mentioned by Gina Serpe at eonline.com, a spokesperson for the duo has articulated that it was an inconsequential rear-ender and everyone is in good health. No particulars have been discharged on the reason behind the accident yet. However, what is known with certainty is that Pete and Ashlee were not in the automobile at the time of the rear-ender. The account has mentioned that it was, in actual fact, Bronx’s nanny, who was driving.

However, a lot of time was not consumed by the anxious parents before touching down at the scene of the accident. Ashlee is said to have remained in the car while Pete went to gather his unscratched son.

While there, Pete also took advantage of the opportunity to converse with the nanny about the mishap. There was some noticeable scratch to the front left side of the automobile of the nanny. However, it is indistinct whether she was the one that was struck, or the driver that did the striking.
