Pennsylvania, Sep 21, (THAINDIAN NEWS) According to reports, a freshman at the Pennsylvania State University, who had gone missing for the past couple of days, has been found dead by the authorities. University officials has revealed that the 18 year old Joseph Dado’s body had been located by the authorities in a stairwell between the Steidle Building and the Hosler Building.
With Dado’s death, the toll of deaths that have occurred in relation to universities in the recent two or three months, have risen to four. It had begun with the sensational news of two Virginia Tech University students being found dead around the campus of the university, followed by the brutal killing of the Yale Graduate student, Annie Le; and now Dado’s supposed accidental death.
Lisa Powers, a Penn State spokeswoman said that maintenance workers had found Dado’s body at about 6 p.m. on Monday. As of now, initial probe of the matter has not revealed any evidence of foul play, as has been stated by Powers. Though there has been no official confirmation of the news by the authorities as of now, it is widely been speculated that Dado had fallen to his death, after plunging from a height of almost 15 feet. His death could have been resulted from the immense head trauma that he had sustained, when he landed hard on the concrete.
A manhunt to locate him had been launched early Sunday morning, when his friends became concerned over his not turning up at the dorm. He had been seen last at the Phi Gamma Delta (Fiji) fraternity.
