Passenger plane in ‘accident’ at Harare International Airport, details sketchy
August 5th, 2010 - 4:55 pm ICT by BNO NewsHARARE (BNO NEWS) — A passenger plane was involved in an ‘accident’ while landing at Harare International Airport in Zimbabwe on Thursday, authorities said.
David Chawota, the General Manager and CEO of the country’s Civil Aviation Authority, told BNO News that an aircraft was involved in an accident. “There was an accident,” he said. “We will give you more information in a few minutes.”
Chawota could not say if the aircraft had crashed, but said there were some injuries.
