Bristol, Dec 22 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The police in Bristol Downs have their hands full with a really strange case. The police are seriously looking for a 25-year-old architect who went missing almost a week ago.

The last time that Joanna Yeates was seen, she was leaving a pub after going out with friends and colleagues for the upcoming Christmas. She lives with her boyfriend in a flat at Clifton, Bristol.

Her parents, David and Teresa appeared on TV and made an emotional appeal for the return of their daughter. After asking the general public to volunteer information that will lead to the location of their daughter, David turned to the camera and emotionally appealed to Joanna to at least indicate to them that she is OK, if indeed she is.

They however maintain that it is not the style of Joanna to keep out of touch for that long.

The police also urged the public to volunteer information. Detective Superintendent Mark Saunders, of Avon and Somerset Police pleaded that the public should volunteer information. He said that, “This is completely out of character for Jo. We are concerned for her welfare and we now need help from the public.”
