More information are gradually resurfacing regarding the Billings murder case, as the eighth person was arrested on Wednesday for an alleged connection with the murder of the parents of sixteen kids.
Pamela Long Wiggins, a woman who is sought to be a “partner in crime” in the killing of Florida ’super parents’ Byrd and Melanie Billings, was charged on Wednesday with accessory after the fact for felony murder.
The authorities of Florida have reportedly confirmed the arrest of Pamela Long Wiggins for having an alleged connection with the murder. Earlier, Wiggins was sought by the police officers in order to help the latter to unveil the case.
Wiggins, escorted by police returned to Florida on Wednesday for interrogation. The alleged woman, who is a real estate agent has been found to have ties with two men, who are already in the custody for their connection in the murder case. According to the sources, the police doesn’t believe that Wiggins was present in the house during the time of the shooting. Escambia County Sheriff David Morgan said in a news conference that Wiggins has a lawyer in her defense and she has also spoken to the investigators regarding the issue.
Wiggins was spotted by the Alabama police in a marina in the town of Orange Beach and apparently didn’t know that the police was searching for her. It has been revealed that Wiggins is a “family friend” and landlord to Leonard Gonzalez Jr. whom police say to have played a “pivotal” role in the murder of the couple.
Eight suspects are now in custody charge with what seems to be a “perfectly executed murder”. It has also been revealed that Wiggins was charged with felony grand theft in the year 1988. The charge was later dropped to a misdemeanor to which she pleaded guilty.
