Pakistani Ambassador Mohammad Abbasi injured after attack in Tehran
May 11th, 2010 - 11:23 pm ICT by BNO NewsTEHRAN (BNO NEWS) — The vehicle of Pakistan’s Ambassador to Iran, Mohammad Abbasi, was attacked in Tehran on Tuesday, various media reported.
The semi-official Fars news agency reported that the envoy came under attack in Tehran, killing two of Abbasi’s guards. According to Pakistani television station Geo News, Abbasi was hospitalized with minor injuries after being attacked with a knife.
Fars reported that the attacker was arrested, without giving further details.
