Osama bin Laden Facebook page New York, Apr 19 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A Facebook account that was in the name of the Al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden has been shut down. On the account there were more than 1000 fans and the owner of the leader had also posted there recordings and the speeches of Islamic extremists.

The Facebook account was made on the 25th of March, and it said that Osama Bin Laden is the “Prince of Mujahideen.” And the location of the dreaded terrorist was mentioned as the “mountains of the world.” The world’s best investigative agencies are hunting for Osama Bin Laden, and they think that he is hiding in the mountains, near Pakistan and/or Afghanistan. The actual owner of the page was not known. Some people think that the owner could have been some supporter of the terrorist, as it is highly unlikely that Osama Bin Laden would operate the Facebook page himself.

Facebook spokesman Andrew Noyes said that, “People often attempt to register fake accounts under the name of famous or infamous people. There is no evidence to suggest that the account in question or the other dozens of people who have tried to present themselves as Osama bin Laden have any relation to the terrorist. As is our standard practice, we have disabled the account.”
