Orphaned GrizzliesBillings, Dec 21, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Dolly, Loulou and Koda have still not got much used to the ambience of ZooMontana which is why they will have to stay inside the zoo for few more weeks before making public appearances. The grizzlies are siblings who have a tragic past. Few months back, in July 2010 the three little ones had experienced a trauma when they were led on a rampage by their mother through the Montana campground.

The mother of the little ones was killed through euthanasia by the wildlife officials after the family went through a tragic late night fatal attack. According to reports, a man hailing from Michigan died due to this while two others were injured. The mother was supposedly leading her young ones to food. However, the orphaned grizzlies, fortunately, have a home now. They were brought by the ZooMontana officials after the tragic incident and since then, the grizzlies are trying to adapt themselves to their new life. According to a zoo official, the three grizzly siblings have spent almost five months at the zoo and at present are drawing a good amount of attention from the school kids.

The orphaned grizzlies have now become the latest attraction for visitors especially for the children. Dolly, Loulou and Koda are now almost two-years-old. People are trying to get a close look of the animals through the glass barricades as the trio dug the snowy ground in search of some food. Senior zoo keeper Krystal Whetham said that the bears are being taught how to hunt for food and are being tamed so that they get themselves prepared for public appearances.
