PORTLAND, OREGON (BNO NEWS) – One of the two Oregon individuals suspected of aggravated murder was taken into custody, local authorities said Monday.

Gresham Police were called to check the welfare of an individual slumped behind the wheel of a vehicle, and upon arrival, officers found 21-year-old Kawela Jacob Kaluna, also known as “Jake” of Portland, Oregon, dead behind the wheel of a 1998 black Audi sedan.

Investigations determined that Kaluna was a victim of homicide, and two possible suspects were named, Shalina Marie Rickerd, 27, and Reuben James Webb, 41, both of Portland, Oregon.

On Sunday, April 4, Rickerd was observed leaving her residence, as she was contacted a few blocks away and taken into custody. Later that evening and into the morning of April 5, a search warrant was issued but the second suspect, Webb, was not located. His location is currently unknown, as he may have fled the State.

Webb is described as a white male, 41 years of age, 5′9″, 170 lbs, shaved head, long sideburns, glasses and both arms covered in tattoos. Any information of his whereabouts should be reported the Gresham Police Department or to 911.
